Routine Check-Ups and Cleans

Seeing the dentist twice a year provides a solid foundation for good oral health. At Northern Beaches Dental Group, we like to see patients every six months for routine check-ups and cleans. This enables Dr Gisele Barreto and Dr Livia De Haan to spot oral health disease, including decay or infection, and to recommend treatment for any issues that might be developing.

Routine visits also provide us with an opportunity to assess your gum health. Many times, people have gum disease, and they don’t know it because there are no symptoms. The truth is that you cannot have healthy teeth if you do not have healthy gums, so it is crucial for us to identify and treat gum disease if it is present.
